This started out ok, then I added the shape on the left...

Sunny Saturday

Once again, there are parts of this that are successful. Some of the lines are very nice and free, and then they start to get choppy and almost hesitant, which reads that way. I need to be more forceful, well maybe not forceful as deliberate.

Not sure about this one, there are some nice parts to it, but the flow isn't right. Interesting though.
Forgot to update, but exhibition opening tonight at the Art Exchange for the artists who have participated in the London Studio Tour, of which I am one. Should be an interesting show.

Time for a new start....

Trying to expand patterns

Not really sure of the purpose yet, but for whatever reason these are helping me cope with stress, and just make me feel better generally that I'm at least doing something everyday to move toward a more creative day. Regardless of whatever else is going on, I have this little space in the morning..

So one month later

I've been able to keep at it for a month. So far so good. It's been a struggle some days, just to put pen to paper and keep with the commitment. But I am happy that I've been able to do it. They aren't all pretty, some are real dogs, but all in all, it's been a great way to start my morning. Even while I've been sick. I think I'll keep going.
